ALNY
DCA Valuation Engine — valuation percentile, V score and contribution sizing
How these three are calculated
The calculation
Every term below is this ticker's own number. The general form is at the bottom of the page.
DCF — the absolute anchor
What the cash flows are worth, discounted.
| Case | Fair value | Upside | V | Weight |
|---|
How to read this
No DCF for this name, so V is the relative score alone.
Fair values replace the model’s output; WACC and terminal growth replace its inputs.
0-100, where higher means dearer. Leave blank to use the measured value.
Factors
Each multiple is ranked against its own history on the same trailing basis. A high expensiveness percentile means dear.
| Factor | Now | Raw pct | Expensiveness | Weight | Contribution |
|---|
What each multiple is buying
The rows this ticker is actually scored on are marked with their weight.
| Metric | What you are buying |
|---|
V score over time
Multiple history
Weekly price over the fundamentals published as of that week.
What the percentiles are measured against
The distribution is built from weekly prices divided by the statements that were public that week, so the denominator really moves — but it only steps once per filing. A five-year window is ~260 weekly points and far fewer independent fundamental readings, which is the number that bounds how much a percentile is worth. Forward figures Yahoo publishes today are shown below for context and are deliberately never ranked against this trailing distribution: for anything growing, a forward multiple is lower, so ranking one against the other reads cheap every time.
General form
Valuation sets the pace of contribution; it does not decide whether to buy.
With no usable DCF, wdcf is 0 and V is the relative score alone — the missing branch is never filled with a neutral 50.
